Boys!
You may have noticed a lack of boys in my work... Well it's because I'm scared of drawing them - girls are so much easier to draw! I have been practicing to overcome my fear. Here is a page of biro doodle boys from my sketchbook...

Further experiments in fiction...
I really enjoyed experimenting with this black and white image. I think it's ended up looking quite comic booky and I'm pretty happy with that!

An experiment in Black and White
I have been attending a great children's book writing course this past year, (the tutor is wonderfully funny writer Lou Kuenzler) and have been thinking recently how I would really like to illustrate some young fiction titles.
